The Shattered Reach fell once, in an event the survivors just call the Shattering. Ridgehaven held. Its people rebuilt around one rule: someone has to watch the old roads, and someone has to come back and say what they found. That's a Warden.
Wardens of the Shattered Reach is a full campaign system — a 32-tile Overland map radiating out from the Town Hub, a 20-tile Main Subterranean Delve beneath it, and three named Side-Delves for the ones who go looking for trouble on purpose. Four classes, a Trade Token economy, and a design rule that never wavers: if you need it mid-play, it's printed on the tile in front of you. No flipping through a book to find out if you're dying.
- > Warrior, Thief, Mage, and Ranger — each with their own tools for the Reach
- > Town Hub economy centered on Ridgehaven, with a full cast of named NPCs
- > Six-Act Overland structure, each with its own escalating tile pile
- > Three Deep Vault mini-bosses and a Final Boss, all built on one shared Combat Ring system
- > A diary-style companion book — certain tiles carry a passage number worth looking up
Wardens is in active development, with all 70 tiles' art complete and a publisher currently reviewing the design.
