Before Zed Run!! was a game show, it was just the end of the world. Zed by Dawn is the prequel — a solo survival horror dice-and-card game set in the same universe, in the years before the city-states rebuilt and started broadcasting the survival of the fittest for entertainment.

Encounters resolve on custom combat dice — Fist, Bullet, Zed Head, Miss — rolled against a printed target number, while Fatigue and Ammo pools and your Health track how much longer you've actually got. The Survival Mode variant strips the Event deck down, reshuffles, and loops it: every pass through the deck is another day you made it to dawn.
